You too can look like a celebrity!

Great news!!! Roots- they're in!?!
That's right let those roots show....well, in a "ombre" sort of way!
(Umbre or Ombre) translated basically means, "a gradation of color/ an indefinite color"

Seen these looks lately?  Wonder what they're all about & whether you can pull it off?  We think you can & we've spent time in recent classes learning just how to do this ultra trendy look!
It's not just roots grown out, its an intricate technique of three colors roots, mid lengths and then ends....amazing, turn heads kind of look!
Bold, quite a difference between roots to end color....makes a statement

A bit more subtle, and on the lighter side of things....

She's been rockin' this look for quite some time, I guess it took us all a while to figure out how cool it was!

Receiving much more than expected.....

It's always so fabulous to get positive feedback from our guests, and so nice to have it in writing, so we can share with our staff members.  Laurie certainly does display an extrodinary commitment  & skill in providing services.  Her commitment to furthering her education in Reiki and energy work has allowed her to reinvented her facial services!  Clients rave about her regularly- but this was particularly touching & we wanted to share.

Below is an email we recently received from a customer.  A few alterations in the email have been made to keep it more anoymous.

"Laurie is just extraordinary.  Without my saying a word to her, she picked up on all of the trauma and hurt I have been carrying around for most of my life.  She pinpointed the two main sources of my internal pain and the emotional suffering, and also gave me some very encouraging advice and support that I needed to begin to get my life back onto a healthier and happier path.   I thank you Laurie, and the rest of the staff at SunDay’s for making this such an extraordinary experience."

A brief overview of what Reiki is...
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Many have reported miraculous results.

Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.

An amazingly simple technique to learn, the ability to use Reiki is not taught in the usual sense, but is transferred to the student during a Reiki class. This ability is passed on during an "attunement" given by a Reiki master and allows the student to tap into an unlimited supply of "life force energy" to improve one's health and enhance the quality of life.

Its use is not dependent on one's intellectual capacity or spiritual development and therefore is available to everyone. It has been successfully taught to thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds.

A trip to New Beginnings

We recieved a special request from the management at New Beginnings, our closest women's shelter in Laconia.  We have worked with New Beginnings in a number of ways in the past and have our customers to thank for donations & supporting our efforts.

This request came in the form of a workshop they were holding to focus on teenage girls in unsafe, unhealthy environments to teach them healthy coping skills.  Marlyn, our massage therapist, went and spent some time with the small group and was able to talk with them focusing on, self massage, healing points and aromatherapy.

We are always left feeling fulfilled when we are able to share our gifts and talented team members with the community in so many ways.
